Footcare at the 2011 Sydney
Shoe Fair

In February 2011 the Footcare Sales team exhibited at the Sydney Shoe Fair
for the first time.

Showcasing its wide range of exciting new and proven products, the Footcare Stand was the busiest stand at the Fair. Another standholder said to Footcare CEO Barry Kearney, “One of the standholders asked me how many people visited the Fair. I just told him to ask the Footcare people how many show bags they handed out.” And he was right.

There was huge interest in the Footcare Shoecare Range, high quality products imported from PALC in Spain. The new Womens’ fashion shoe products were also a big hit, with women not being able to resist touching and feeling the samples on display. Footcare staff gave away 2,000 samples at the fair, with many visitors putting them straight into their shoes.

One of the main reactions of visitors was to marvel at the low prices offered for such high quality products. Many of the products offered by Footcare are made in Australia at its Manufacturing Plant in Kilsyth, 35kms east of Melbourne.
